LIVE ANIMAL SHIPPING
Live animals are shipped via UPS Next Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver, FedEx Overnight, USPS Priority (1–3 days), or UPS Ground (1–4 days). Shipping days are generally limited to Monday through Wednesday for overnight services and Monday through Tuesday for multi-day services to reduce the risk of weekend delays. Shipping methods are selected based on weather and temperature conditions in the best interest of the animals.
All shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped. This applies under all circumstances, including but not limited to carrier delays, loss, theft, or misdelivery. Shipping carriers assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or delayed packages.
The buyer is solely responsible for being available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt or for retrieving the package from the carrier’s local facility on the day of delivery if the package is held. The buyer is also responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in additional fees, delays, or loss of the package, for which the seller assumes no responsibility.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE (LAG)
All live animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and in good condition only if the following conditions are met.
The package must be accepted on the first delivery attempt or picked up from the carrier facility within the delivery day.
The destination temperature on the date of delivery must be between 45°F and 85°F. If the destination temperature falls outside this range, overnight shipping must be selected for the Live Arrival Guarantee to apply.
Failure to meet any of these conditions will void the Live Arrival Guarantee without exception.
CLAIMS ON LIVE ANIMALS
If an animal arrives deceased or in visibly poor condition with low likelihood of survival, the customer must notify the seller within three (3) hours of delivery using an approved contact method. Clear photographs and/or video evidence of the animal’s condition must also be submitted within three (3) hours of delivery.
Failure to provide timely notification or adequate documentation will void the Live Arrival Guarantee and any eligibility for refund, replacement, or other resolution.
DEPOSIT POLICY ON LIVE ANIMALS
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, a non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total purchase price is required to reserve live animals. Reserved animals will be held for a maximum of fifteen (15) days.
If full payment is not received within fifteen (15) days, the seller reserves the right to relist or sell the animal(s) without further notice. In such cases, the deposit will be converted to store credit only. No cash or original-payment refunds will be issued.
EQUIPMENT SHIPPING, DAMAGE, AND RETURNS
Equipment orders are shipped separately from live animals unless otherwise stated. If equipment arrives damaged, the customer must notify the seller within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence of the damage. Damage claims reported within this timeframe will be covered by the seller.
Unless otherwise communicated in writing, damaged equipment must be returned to the seller before a replacement, refund, or other resolution is issued.
Returns of equipment are accepted conditionally and only for items that are unused and undamaged. All return requests are subject to approval prior to shipment. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items returned in used or damaged condition may be refused or refunded at the seller’s discretion.
